Who is Maxine McCarthy?

The brains behind the business, Maxine is an established and well-respected authority within the aesthetics industry. One of the industry’s most accredited and renowned cosmetic professionals, Maxine qualified in aesthetics in 2009 and spent a further three years honing her skills before opening the academy.

Maxine has been featured for her expert’s opinion in a range of media interviews. Including TV features, newspaper articles and her own videos that give viewers a deep-dive view on specific beauty topics.

Maxine was influential in the national debate surrounding standards and regulations in the aesthetics industry. She fought for the rights of non-medics to practice and train in the industry whilst being regulated and supported. This ensures that all practitioners meet the high standards required for a safe and professional aesthetics industry.

Maxine is also a co-founder of The Association of Cosmetic Practitioners of Britain (ACPB). A charity founded to support professionals from both medical and non-medical backgrounds working within the aesthetic industry. Members of the ACPB follow a code of conduct to maintain public safety and professional industry standards. This is achieved through accreditation and insurance assurances that give your clients peace of mind and trust in your treatments and services.
