COURSE OVERVIEW

Taught by a medic and aesthetic practitioner with many years’ experience, this advanced course includes real life case studies. It covers a wide range of possible adverse effects, from minor complications through worrying, to moderate, serious and major. It defines each complication’s likely frequency from common through to occasional, infrequent, rare and very rare offering key symptoms and advice on treatment and prevention.

 

A certificate of attendance is presented at the end of the course.

THE COURSE COMPONENTS

Theory Components

  • On the one-to-one online tuition, you’ll learn about, and study examples of, delayed onset nodules and vascular occlusions and necrosis. You’ll study through swelling and minor bruising to uneven lips, granuloma nodule formation, deep bruising and the Tyndall Effect and much more.

Theory Components 

  • The course also includes anaphylaxis training, the management of sharps injuries or splash incidents and the reporting procedures for adverse effects as well as advice on product selection.
