COSMETIC COUTURE AT THE HEART OF THE FUTURE OF OUR INDUSTRY

COSMETIC COUTURE was the only training provider present at a special meeting late last week of the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP).

The meeting was called by Professor David Sines, chairman of the JCCP, in the aftermath of their announcement that they will not accredit non-medics or beauty therapists to perform injectable procedures.

Despite only being a voluntary register, with no legally binding powers, this news shocked many who feared it meant they would not be able to carry on working – which is not the case.

Cosmetic Couture attended the meeting in London and was the only training centre present and has committed to work with the JCCP on making sure that beauty therapists and non-medics who want to reach level 7 and be registered have the best opportunity to do that.

We will keep you informed as we continue to help set the standards for our industry.
