On International Women’s Day we celebrate the powerful women who drive Cosmetic Couture to be the best in the business.
Led by the Queen of Aesthetics, Maxine McCarthy, Cosmetic Couture has been empowering women for almost ten years.
Under Maxine’s amazing leadership the team was just this month named Training Provider of the Year in the inaugural British Aesthetic Awards 2020, while Maxine herself was runner up in the Aesthetics Practitioner of the Year category.
And to the delight of all the staff, Cosmetic Couture’s nurse practitioner Rachel Childs was a big winner when she was named Best Medical Practitioner of the Year.
Women at the top of their game.
And the Cosmetic Couture team has powerful women leading in aspects of the business, from Maxine’s sisters Cathy and Sharron supporting their entrepreneurial sibling to Penny leading the sales team and Michelle heading up admin and support. Then there are all the brilliant tutors driving the business forward.
Success has not been easy, but on this Women’s Day it is great to celebrate the journey Maxine and Cosmetic Couture has been on.
Despite the past 12 months being the toughest the industry has ever faced the women of Couture have been busier than ever.
Among other things they’ve launched Secret Rose, their own dermal filler and threads brand with it’s own distribution network.
Cosmetic Couture Culcheth is the first of what could be many new Cosmetic Couture branches, while a partnership with L3 Matrix has created the industry’s leading online learning platform.
The pandemic has seen business shift online dramatically with a range of new courses, online learning offerings, videos, webinars and video masterclasses – all developed in a few short months.
Some other major achievements include being accredited by IQ Verify as one of their training centres. That proved that Couture is right up there with some of the best centres for aesthetics in the country.
Accreditation and recognition have also been received with the opening of the new private medical clinic next door to Couture, Hope Medical.
A third big national recognition was when The Association of Cosmetic Practitioners Britain achieved charity status. Maxine co-founded the ACPB it continues to provide clinical oversight, help and advice to its growing membership while also developing it’s inspectorate – a first for Britain.
The opening of Maxsthetica International as a pharmacy was another giant leap forward and now in 2021 Secret Rose is the next powerful brand to come out of the Cosmetic Couture stable – their range of own dermal fillers and threads.
Never far from the media spotlight, Maxine and her team have featured on shows with the likes of Piers Morgan and Jeremy Kyle – with the Kyle Files team coming to film for a day and leaving with the words: “You can’t fail to be impressed by what Maxine has shown us.”
The list of achievements goes on – opening Cosmetic Couture Cyprus, the opening of new luxury student accommodation in an apartment at Media City just down the road from Cosmetic Couture and becoming CPD Standards accredited.
But at the heart of it all are the women who will soon be back at work with the hundreds of students and thousands of models and clients coming for treatments.
Cosmetic Couture continues to be at the cutting edge of the British aesthetics industry, creating new styles and perfecting some of the old favourites while making sure everyone who visits leaves with a smile on their face.
And its women are its beating heart.
