VTCT LEVEL 3 CERTIFICATE IN ANATOMY, PHYSIOLOGY AND
PATHOLOGY FOR COMPLEMENTARY THERAPIES
A knowledge-based qualification which will provide you with a sound foundation.
This qualification will develop your knowledge and understanding of the organisation
of the body, and the structure, function and pathologies of the skin, hair and nails. Learn about the structure, function and pathologies of the human body systems including, the skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive, urinary and reproductive system.
A treatment that is carried out by piercing of the skin in many areas, by a device known as a dermal roller or derma stamp. This treatment causes little to no bruising and can do wonders to sunken areas of the skin, fine lines discolouration and general rejuvenation of the skin.
The course covers the practice off drawing blood from patients for aesthetic use. The course will underpin knowledge and practice to allow the safe drawing of blood.
FIRST AID & ANAPHYLAXIS TRAINING
Covering all aspects of first aid knowledge needed to ensure you are trained to deal with possible medical issues. Training to identify, diagnose and deal with the rare possibility of a client going into anaphylactic shock.
Taught by a medic and an aesthetic practitioner with many years’ experience, this advanced course includes real life case studies. Covers a wide range of possible adverse effects, from minor complications through worrying, to moderate, serious and major. It defines each complication’s likely frequency offering key symptoms and advice on treatment and prevention.
HYALURONIDASE INJECTABLES COURSE
Hyaluronidase is a substance that is used to dissolve hyaluronic acid fillers. We would suggest that no serious aesthetician goes into the industry without being trained in this course.
FOUNDATION DERMAL FILLERS – FOUNDATION 1 & 2
Deliver Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers to the lower third of the face. Theoretical knowledge and understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the skin and face with practical training to result in fully accredited CPD certification.
Gateway to offering better skin – the product relaxes muscles and therefore reduces the appearance of deep lines or wrinkles. It is possibly the best-known aesthetic treatment and certainly one of the most effective. The course focuses on the three most common areas, namely the forehead, frown lines and crow’s feet.
