Meet Maxine
The brains behind the business, Maxine is an established and well-respected authority within the aesthetics industry. One of the industry’s most accredited and renowned cosmetic professionals, Maxine qualified in aesthetics in 2009 and spent a further three years honing her skills before opening the academy.
Maxine has been featured for her expert’s opinion in a range of media interviews. Including TV features, newspaper articles and her own videos that give viewers a deep-dive view on specific beauty topics.
Maxine was influential in the national debate surrounding standards and regulations in the aesthetics industry. She fought for the rights of non-medics to practice and train in the industry whilst being regulated and supported. This ensures that all practitioners meet the high standars required for a safe and professional aesthetics industry.
Maxine is also a co-founder of The Association of Cosmetic Practitioners of Britain (ACPB). A charity founded to support professionals from both medical and non-medical backgrounds working within the aesthetic industry. Members of the ACPB follow a code of conduct to maintain public safety and professional industry standards. This is achieved through accreditation and insurance assurances that give your clients peace of mind and trust in your treatments and services.

All members are required to adhere to the strict protocol and procedures, ensuring that the ACPB standards are met ensuring safety of the public.

Maxine firmly believes that we should raise the standards in training and treatments. There should be accountability; safe products should be used and full clinical oversight should be mandatory for non-prescribing practitioners and medics should adverse effects or complication arise.
Maxine is a co-founder of The Association of Cosmetic Practitioners of Britain (ACPB). The ACPB was in July 2019 approved as charity by the Charities Commission.
