Course Overview
Widely considered the go-to method for treating small varicose and spider veins, Sclerotherapy is one of the most popular treatments in the aesthetics industry. This course will teach you how to safely perform the treatment and get the best results for your clients.
The treatment involves injecting a solution directly into the problem veins. The sclerotherapy solution causes the vein to scar, forcing blood to reroute through healthier veins. The collapsed vein is then reabsorbed into local tissue and eventually fades.
Results are visible after a couple of weeks to a month when the treated vein begins to fade. Occasionally it may take slightly longer to see the full results, and in some instances, several sclerotherapy treatments are required.
During the course you will learn what veins can and cannot be treated, along with how and where to inject safely.
